11月14-16日，由甘肃农业大学、中国草学会、兰州大学等单位主办的“草地生态保护和草业高质量发展国际学术研讨会”在甘肃兰州召开，来自中国、美国、巴西、澳大利亚、匈牙利、英国等多个国家的140余位专家学者参会，草业学院副院长黄琳凯教授、白彦福教授应邀参会。

黄琳凯教授作了题为“Construction of graph-based pan-genome and analysis of heat resistance mechanism of pearl millet（美洲狼尾草图形泛基因组构建及耐热机制解析）”大会英文报告，介绍了团队在美洲狼尾草泛基因组构建及耐热机制解析方面取得的重要进展。

此外，根据11月份最新ESI数据库显示，黄琳凯教授团队2023年发表在Nature Genetics期刊上的论文“Pangenomics identifies structural variation associated with heat tolerance in pearl millet”遴选为高被引论文，该论文同时被H1 Connect（原F1000 Prime）（https://connect.h1.co/）推荐为“New Finding”。团队发表在Plant Biotechnology Journal期刊上的论文 “Milletdb：a multi‐omics database to accelerate the research of functional genomics and molecular breeding of millets”被ESI数据库遴选为热点论文。
